Class meets Saturdays, February 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 10:30 to 3:30.
Learn how to do free-motion applique and free-motion quilting in this class.
French Roses is a really fun project to make. It's good for beginners and if you are interested in learning or practicing free motion skills, it will be a great class for you.
We'll be using free-motion applique to stitch down the leaves and flowers. By the time you get to the free-motion quilting, you will be ready!
Week 1 = Trace and cut flower parts. Learn how to set up your machine for free-motion applique. Trim blocks.
Week 2 = Sew blocks together. Strip piece the Inner Border. Sew borders to the top.
Week 3 = Pin baste your quilt sandwich. Learn how to do stitch-in-the-ditch quilting.
Week 4 = Learn how to do free-motion quilting and binding.

If you love are store sample made with French General fabrics, we have kits. I'll be making another sample using the darling Little Ducklings fabrics in light blues and grays and pale golden yellow. Or, you can choose any other style fabric.
