Choose 8 coordinating fat quarters to make this set of placemats. Each placemat features a band of three log cabin blocks. A traditional log cabin, courthouse steps, half log cabin, and square in a square log cabin are all showcased.

Since each round is trimmed before the next round is added, any variations due to cutting, pressing, and sewing are corrected before the next round is added so they come out perfect every time!

8 Coordinating Fat Quarters*
1 yard Backing Fabric
5/8 yard binding if you don't want to piece your fat quarter scraps
Soft and Stable for batting, or choose Fusible Fleece or batting.
*First choose 4 fabrics that you would like for the body of the placemats. Then choose 4 coordinating binding fabrics. After these pieces are cut, rhe remaining fabric will be used for the pieced blocks.
